Mitsumasa Sato
Mitsumasa Sato was born in 1962 in Hokkaido, Japan.
He studied painting under the 4th Master, Shozan Takahashi, commissioner of Ōtsu immaterial cultural property.
Since May 2007 Mr. Mitsumasa Sato has been a member of the Otsue Painters Association "Shohu-kai".
Mr. Sato is an artist, educator and master of tea ceremonies, and one of the few artists of the present who is concerned with the Ōtsu painting.
Mitsumasa Sato lives and works in Ōtsu, Japan.
